Just a teenage girl
Who likes to dream
Living for the swirls
In clouds and in cream
Sporting rose-colored glasses
In a self built tower
Fails to notice time that passes
Gives no thought to the world’s hour
Optimism self imposed
It’s her main concern if you know her name
Where her thoughts drift, no one knows
She herself is unaware of her position in the game

I had to write a 12 line poem for a memoir (for me) for class. I liked it okay, so I'm posting it. I might scrap it though.
