Literature Text

Twinkle, twinkle tiny light
I entreat thee, enter its plane
plead to Night, bid release of the shade
that hides my view of the earnest sunrise
Shatter the spell of the most comfortable shroud
withdrawn arms cause walls to crumble as twisted
splintering, bloated quivers wrack my mind's eye
only to then disappear
Seize the feelings that you will not recall
while trembling on time's third leg
I repeat this mantra over a decade of days
shuffling aimlessly, lead on by gentle voices
There was a girl who struck herself blind
to the diamonds upon her back
they tumbled away, bits of shard by shard
while I watched each become absent of luster
I wept for the clenching, child-like hands
that only seem to follow example
lips that know four stories for truth were my cradle
my sentiments are thus inspired by visions
rather than practice
there was a shell I nestled inside of
it spoke to me of unconditional love
Beyond that, I couldn't hear the waves break the shore
and my shell was swept away
It seems that time has played a trick
Something I wrote in IBCA.

Open to interpretation. ^-^ I'm curious to know what you guys think is going on.

A little hard to follow, but a very nice choice of words.
